We are excited to bring you this upcoming season of Minor Ball Hockey! Here are some things to note for the upcoming season:
Teams - Each division will have a minimum of 2 teams up to 4, however we will be limiting the size of teams to 14 kids. This is to ensure that practice groups are smaller and your child will be with the same group for the majority of the time. This format will include thirteen players and one goalie. We will add more due to demand. Please note we expect a commitment from you to try and make most games and practices when signing up. Our schedule will be released all at once to help with conflicts that you have with other sports. Schedule requests and changes are not possible.
Play Format - We will be playing on the floor to 5on5 plus a goalie in each net. There will be two referees conducting the game. There will be up to two coaches for each team. Divs up to U12 will play games that last an hour. Divs U14, U16 will play games that last an hour and fifteen minutes. Practices last an hour and are always at Centennial Arena.
Travel - There is a certain amount of travel to be expected when signing up. For most games we will interlock with Delta Minor Ball Hockey. We will have lots of variety for teams to play. All home games will be played at our rink: Centennial Arena.
Jerseys - You will be assigned a hockey jersey for the season, a deposit of $125.00 will be required on jersey day. This is to be handed out by cheque or bank draft made out to "High Bridge Sports and Entertainment." You will get notice on when this day is. The cheque/bank draft is not cashed unless you fail to return the jersey at season's end. Jerseys will be available for personal order also if you wish to purchase one.

Hockey Stick Requirements:
1. Has to be either wooden, composite, or wooden/composite shaft with a plastic blade
2. Blade of hockey stick must be at least 2 inches in height
3. We recommend a composite stick for durability and performance

CAN I REGISTER MY CHILD IF THEY HAVE NOT PLAYED BEFORE?
Absolutely you can! Our program is great for beginners as we focus on having fun and development.
CAN WE REGISTER A FULL TEAM?
If your child has a group of friends that they often hang out with please try to register them to the same team color and we will try to group them together, however we cannot guarantee they will stay on the same team for the entire season. We do this to ensure division parity.
WHY DO I PICK A TEAM COLOR AT REGISTRATION?
Although we cannot guarantee that players can play on the same team the entire season, we are allowing you to pick your preference at registration. This is great for players who are wanting to start on the same team, friends or siblings etc.
WILL YOU ADD TEAMS AS REGISTRATION CONTINUES?
Yes, we've only added a few teams at registration open and will add them as demand is met. We will include as many as possible this year!
